Mailbox Thefts Reported

This past week some Deer Creek mailboxes were reported as being forced open and mail stolen. We do not know for sure but we believe about six mailboxes were broken into. Some images of the perpetrators were captured on surveillance cameras. The sheriff office was contacted and has investigated. The incidents occurred in the early evening and it appears a white Ford sedan was driven. Please share this with your neighbors and let’s try to stop this immediately.

Remember:

• Be observant and report any unusual activities around mailboxes
• If you have “Ring” or something similar be sure the system is working and activated
• Pick up your mail regularly, daily if possible. If you are going to be away for a period of time, arrange for a friend or neighbor to pick up your mail.
• Report suspicious activities to Brian Brabec 402-720-7378, Mark Westergard 402-680-6890 or any other HOA Board member. Of course the Douglas County sheriff can be called directly also.
