Dear DC Homeowners Association Residents,
The 2025 Annual Meeting is coming up!
Date: Thursday, November 20, 2025
Time: 7:00pm
Location:
The Players Club
12101 Deer Creek Drive
The annual meeting provides all residents an opportunity to get better acquainted with their neighbors and to learn accurate information about the operation of our HOA. All are encouraged to attend.
The agenda will include a review of financials, election of Board members, review of 2024 accomplishments and 2025 goals, among other business items.
As information, per the HOA Bylaws the HOA Board may consist of no less than three but no more than seven residents. There are currently five Board members. Of the five current members, two members were elected to two-year terms in 2024 and are not up for re-election this year, three members were elected to one-year terms in 2024 and being presented for re-election. The Board will nominate a slate of members and the slate will be voted on by the residents present.
Note: the “slate” proposed will consist of three incumbents seeking re-election to a two-year term. Should the “slate” be approved by the Residents, the 2026 Board of Directors would consist of five members. Should the “slate” fail, nominations for Board members will be taken from the floor at the meeting.
Proposed Slate of Board Members:
- Mark Westergard (Incumbent, nominated for 2 year term)
- John Bourne (Incumbent, nominated for 2 year term)
- Joan Boulay (Incumbent, nominated for 2 year term)
- Andy Chapeau (Incumbent, not up for re-election, 1 year remaining on term)
- Laurel Salonen ((Incumbent, not up for re-election, 1 year remaining on term)
Association dues statements will be sent out soon. Residents are reminded that the Board has not changed it’s delinquency policy. DUES ARE DUE JANUARY 1 AND ARE DELINQUENT JANUARY 15 AND INTEREST IS CHARGED ON UNPAID DUES STARTING FROM THE 15TH.
Lastly, as election season approaches, all residents are reminded that signage, except for real estate for sale signage, is prohibited by our covenants. This includes political yard signs.
