2024 Annual Meeting Notice
Dear DC Homeowners Association Residents.
The annual meeting of the DC HOA will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 7:00pm at The Players Club located at 12101 Deer Creek Drive.
The annual meeting provides all residents an opportunity to get better acquainted with their neighbors and to learn accurate information about the operation of our HOA. All are encouraged to attend.
The agenda will include a review of financials, election of Board members, review of 2024 accomplishments and 2025 goals, among other business items.
As information, the HOA Board may consist of no less than three but no more than seven residents. There are currently seven Board members. Of the seven current members, three members were elected to two-year terms in 2023 and are not up for re-election this year, three members were elected to one-year terms in 2023 and are not seeking re-election, and one member was appointed by the Board in 2024 to replace a Board member who moved out of town. The Board will nominate a slate of members and the slate will be voted on by the residents present. Note that the “slate” proposed will consist of two names for a two-year term: The candidate appointed during the year (Andy Chapeau) and a candidate nominated by the Board, Laurel Salonen, Should the slate be approved by the Residents, the 2025 Board of Directors would consist of five members. Should the slate fail, nominations for Board members will be taken from the floor at the meeting.

Joan Boulay (Incumbent, 1 year remaining on term)
Andy Chapeau ( Nominated to 2 year term)
Laurel Salonen (Nominated for 2 year term)
Association dues statements will be sent out soon, Residents are reminded that the Board has not changed it’s delinquency policy. DUES ARE DUE JANUARY 1 AND ARE DELINQUENT JANUARY 15 AND INTEREST IS CHARGED ON UNPAID DUES STARTING FROM THE 15TH.
Lastly, as a national election is just weeks away, all residents are reminded that signage, except for real estate for sale signage, is prohibited by our covenants. This includes political yard signs.
